THE AGE OF FLOPPY DISKS
I can’t wait until the next system of data storage comes out. I still remember using floppy disks for data storage when I was younger. They weren’t perfect and were actually pretty easy to break, but now I hate CD’s. Yeah, I find them easier to use than floppy disks and I think they’re actually cheaper too. I still have problems with them as data storage devices though. For instance, the other night I was updating my Ipod and for some reason my desktop computer kept rejecting my Avenged Sevenfold CD. How am I supposed to get it on my Ipod if I can get it on my computer first? Then the next day, I needed to print this 600-word report I’d been working on all year for my sales job. It’s just listing all the benefits I’ve sold and to whom and in what areas, etc, etc. Naturally, I want to take it to Kinkos, but first I have to save it on CD. The first CD I put in gets caught in my computer and I can’t eject it. The program for the CD doesn’t even load. Finally, I turned it off and it came out. I can’t wait for the next line of improvements.
