SIGNING ON TO EMAIL

I was so bored today so I decided to surf the net. I signed onto my email and saw that I had received an email from an address I didn’t recognize, so I clicked on it. A pop-up appeared on the screen, claiming that I had just received 3 Dallas Mavericks Tickets. Of course, I didn’t believe it. Then I clicked on the “no, thank you” option. The pop-up wouldn’t go away. I clicked it again. Nothing happened. Finally, frustrated, I clicked on the “yes, I accept” option. Words began appearing on my screen, spelling out foreign words and phrases. It took a few minutes before I realized it was a computer virus. Annoyed, I pressed Alt, Control and Delete to end the program. Nothing worked. The keyboard was malfunctioning and I could no longer control the computer. Now I was angry. I hit the computer on its side, shaking it when it didn’t respond. I wondered why these things always happen to me. I didn’t do anything. I resolved never to open anything from an address I didn’t immediately recognize. Of course, this bothered some of my friends since I didn’t have their email addresses, and I deleted them accidentally. But then again, I think it’s worth it.
