Lasik eye surgery is something I thought about for many years, but kept putting off.  Why, I don't know.  Well, I do know, really.  I don't like anybody getting close to my eyes with any type of instrument.  I never have, since I was a kid.  I know what they say about lasik, that there are no instruments, really, but aiming something into my eye is just as bad.  Jim, my buddy, had lasik a couple of years ago, and he swears by it.  No more glasses or squinting for him.  I really want to go this route too, as my eyes are getting worse, it seems.  Tara thinks it's a good idea, and she may get it done herself.  But she will wait until after I'm finished with it.  So we went online and looked for doctors and clinics to have it done.  There are quite a few really.  I called one doctor and got some quotes. Her rates seemed kind of high, but I went in for a consultation.  Plus, this doctor was close to home, which made it easier.  I decided to keep looking, as I didn't so much like this doctor.  I took out the yellow pages and looked there.
