We wanted to go wireless, just because we didn't like wires of any type running around the house.  Tara started to research wireless home security.  There were quite a few choices for us to consider.  First we went online and looked at all the different companies and the different configurations.  The more we looked the more confused we got.  The next thing we did was to go to some stores and look at what they had in stock.  They didn't have as many choices as the web sites, but, in a way, that was a good thing.  We had too many things to consider and couldn't make up our minds.  Jim and Sue had gone with a higher end system, and then added video. And motion detectors.  Their house was like a fortress now.  You couldn't get near the place without alarms and bells going off.  I didn't know if we had to go to that extreme.  Jim and Sue did because of the robbery they suffered several weeks ago.  They weren't alone.  Many people in the neighborhood had break ins that week.  We didn't, and it's a good thing.  We are very careless with our personal information and also with valuables.  There are many nights we go to sleep without locking the door.  Not because we think it is that safe; we just forget.
