COMPUTER PROBLEMS
One day, John Gates came in to the store and told us that we better check out the Home Depot Organizers. They had a nice selection and we might be able to pick up on some of the latest trends. I thought it was a good idea to check up on the competition, such as it was. We had opened our little retail store after a couple of years of installing organizers in the larger subdivisions in the area. John Gates was one of our customers. The poor guy was always trying to get something organized. Not with much success. His garage was a disaster. His disorganization even carried over to his computer. Or rather Sarah's computer. Sarah was John's wife. But John used the computer too. He said he couldn't figure out Windows machines, even though his cousin was heavily into computers. In fact, the day he came in, he was also having a computer problem, so we talked about it for a while. I was going to ask him about his cousin, but a tornado siren went off. It was the time of year. The sky was clear, though. John suggested that maybe it was a warning. I didn't think so. They don't blow those sirens for warnings. Soon the sky was a purple and green and hail was pounding down. I never did get to ask John about his cousin. We dived under some heavy tables.
