ONLINE RESEARCH

Hair loss can be caused by myriad reasons I decided to look it up online and this is what I found: One of the main causes of hair loss is lack of sufficient vitamins in the diet. For hair loss vitamins can be taken to check the problem of hair fall. Vitamins, which are good for consistent hair growth, are as follows: Vitamin A – food sources of vitamin a are milk, fish liver oil, cabbage, meat, broccoli, peaches etc. the daily dose should be more than or equal to 5,000 IU and less than 25,000 IU. Vitamin C – vitamin c is very good for maintaining the health of the hair. Food sources are strawberries, green peppers, cantaloupe, kiwi, citrus fruits, dark green vegetables etc. the daily intake should be of 60 mg. Vitamin E - vitamin e helps in scalp circulation. The food sources for it are wheat gram oil, dried beans, soybeans, leafy and green vegetables; nuts etc. vitamin e can raise the blood pressure so one should consult the doctor before taking vitamin e supplements. Other vitamins that help in stopping hair fall and enhance hair growth are biotin, inositol, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin b6 and vitamin b12. One has to be patient and consistent while taking the vitamins. The results may show only after a month or two.
